IMO This thing is junk. --Kacil 21:37, 24 August 2006 (EDT)

If you need 1 or 2 TP THIS bad, odds are you're already taking a lot of damage from the thing you're trying to kill... I'm pretty sure the mob will get more of a benefit from this thing than you would....

I agree sounds like a junk piece of equipment Reinhardt

I think a PLD who needs to swap hate with another tank could potentially find this useful. Other tank has hate, engage mob, equip neck piece, let the damage tick down til you can hit a full powered Cure IV and you've got a nice hate spike potential (Cure IV + Provoke + Flash). So it could have some situational use, but other than that, I don't think anyone would actually use it to gain serious ammounts of TP. --Chrisjander 20:21, 27 October 2006 (EDT)

i know this is old and no one proboly will read this but there is a really good thing to use this for. in dynamis/ballista/anything that sleepga's, you get slept, throw this on for one tick, boom back up and going, also 50hp isn't alot more then you would loose in a full run of a venom pot. will this actually wake you up? or would you sleep through it. if it does wake you up, it could be pretty nice ^^

I can see this as having similar use as the Opo-opo necklace, where you can get TP before a big fight and then have a WHM or RDM top off your HP, without having to buy extra items. That's about it though. Zeik

That's assuming you have something to engage to activate the latent, in which case you could probably just TP off of that. The places that opo-opo necklace TPing is used most often are BCNMs, limbus boss fights (omega/ultima) and dynamis lord (and other dynamis mega bosses). Neither of the first two has anything to engage, and I doubt a linkshell's going to wait an extra 9 minutes for you to get 300% tp while wasting some 20 cure Vs from a white mage.

This item isn't for TP gain. Its best use is losing HP like Chris's idea. --Dragonspight 11:05, 21 June 2007 (CDT)

I can see this item having some use for DRG/MAGE, lets say ur less than 100 hp above 50%, it can sometimes get nasty when you try to pull and whatever it is your pulling is whacking away at you before you get back to camp. So you could basically put it on long enough to trigger healing breath then go pull as normal. warby
