- Many Artifact Weapons are not designed to last you forever. In most cases (especially in pertaining to melee jobs), the weapons are meant to be upgraded once you get something better, rather than used until far later.
The fact that there is a whole set of "new ~40 weapons" from BCNM, such as the Tourney Patas, have also hurt matters, and made some AF weapons obsolete before they're gotten. --Taeria Saethori 18:51, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
