I no longer consider this enemy to be a Notorious Monster. Anyone else have any thoughts? --Divisortheory 14:37, 28 March 2007 (EDT)

Because of the number of spawns? What about the other chariots that are labeled as NMs? --Charitwo 14:44, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
Hmm, it's a tough call. It's certainly not notorious in any way in Bhaflau. However, in Arrapago, if this is not a NM then neither should be the Qiqirns. That said, does anyone know how to pop the floor6 chariot in Arrapago? It would be interesting to see if it has the same loot pool. --Aurikasura 14:48, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
Like Aurik said, it's a tough call. And I can't exactly pin down my reasons for not considering it a NM. But here's a few reasons.
  • The same enemy with the same name is in every Salvage zone. At least with the Qiqirn NMs, they're unique to Arrapago Remnants.
  • I definitely consider the boss versions to be Notorious Monsters, and I have a hard time putting these versions into the same category.
  • If we label Archaic Chariot as a Notorious Monster, then this family of enemy contains no regular enemies. That's fine, because other families (such as Behemoths) also don't have any normal enemies, but it's not the norm.
Regarding 6 floor Chariot, I believe it's exactly the same as 6th floor Zhayolm Remnants chariot. It's just up, and is part of the condition for unlocking the path to the boss.

I've been to the 6th floor on Arrapago and I don't recall seeing a Chariot. Then again, we didn't open the door to the 7th floor; maybe it pops then? --Aurikasura 16:40, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
I agree with Aurik on if this is not a NM, then neither are the rats of Arrapago. However, there will always be Racing Chariots that prevent chariots from becoming a NM-only family. One thing that should be considered are sizes, at least for Qiqirn since for some reason I think all chariots have the same size (and are maybe defined by being a NM [look-wise] if they are long-horned, battledressed, long-gunned, or shielded). Also, should NM-only families (behemoths, turtles, and wyrms mostly, as I don't consider yovras to be NM-only since I don't think ITG definese being a NM) have their categories under Category:Notorious Monsters? --Joped 17:02, 28 March 2007 (EDT)
Well, I still think the Qiqirn are NMs. Like I said, at least those are unique to Arrapago Remnants. The Archaic Chariots are in every zone, and only in 1/4 Salvage zones do they drop anything. Anyway, normal mobs drop equip in Bhaflau Remnants and Arrapago Remnants, so just the fact that it drops something doesn't indicate any kind of Notoriousness to me. --Divisortheory 10:02, 29 March 2007 (EDT)

The Archaic Chariot in Zhayolm Remnants does not give a title when defeated. --Ikonic(Talk/Contrib) 21:43, 14 September 2007 (CDT)
