Calves tend to leave you after you distance yourself a certain length away. One very safe way and efficient way to herd 1 cow and 3 calves is to:
- Mazurka yourself
- Place yourself in walk mode
- Get 3 calves to follow you
- Target and walk behind ("drive") a cow towards the Moogle.

You can tell S/E is tired of this game. Same event, same prizes. It would have been easy to throw some more rewards in their, like the city warp collars, without having to create anything new. It's kind of like "oh, we better throw an event out there. let's just recycle Blazin' Buffaloes" --Randwolf 18:59, September 26, 2009 (UTC)
A Quick How To:[]
After you talk to the event moogle at the city entrance, you will get a Bovine Brand Card. This card will be stamped with the numbers and types of the Buffalo you wrangle to the moogle at the "Corral." You get points for different Buffalo. The moogles may also tell you that they need to be from the same herd. After you've "wrangled" a number of Buffalo you can trade your card to the Corral Moogle for various items.
- Miracle Milk (2 Brands)
- Drover's Mantle (3 Brands)
- Drover's Belt (10 Brands)
- Aldebaran Horn (30 Brands)
