Dude if new avatars come out they won't untill there done with the sotry line much like diablos was, now stop crying and whinning about it, smn has more then enough as is to make it a great job, it's not like adding a new avatar will make people not want smn's to main heal in PT's lol.

Why not add something to jobs that actually need something instead of continually adding to jobs that are already known for being great jobs....ie NIN come on now what else do they need can we say uber survivability, RDM can solo more things then any other job as is why add more to it did it need more....not really. Give jobs that need some suvivability something for instance DRK, granted DRK has drain and drain 2 but come on 5 min recast on our so called life boat. Dread Spikes is nice but short life, long cast time and long recast it doesnt do alot of good. There are plenty of jobs that could use alot more abilities rather then making whats already a great job and make it that much better

Crap

Looks like a total crap version update to me. What about the avatars that SE has been promising SMN's now for 2 years???

- Doesn't look like crap to me - very very very few updates that weren't full expansions we had to pay for have had add new areas and monsters. The updates for this one may look short now in text, but when we get online i bet you will find it has more content than most. And I believe those avatars you are saying were promised by SE were just speculation by players and not promises from SE. SMN's have always been claiming promises from SE since ffxi was released, but theyre usually made on speculation from a picture a SMN fanboy saw somewhere.--NOiSEA 17:19, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Not Bad

Unlike you, I find this a great update. New WoTG armor, new blue magic spells (FINALLY!), and even high lvl agmented armor. I hope that the Blue Spells are related to those two new monsters we are going to get. And I wonder what the new agments will be, as if they could be worked for the certain item or not. --ScryeBloodstone 17:16, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Un-crap

I think the addition of the new, high level gear augmentation system is great. Not only can I augment gear, but if I don't like the augment I get, I can try for another one...lets hope they added some lines of code that only make certain augments possible for certain types of gear (e.g.: hachiman gear getting a bunch of elemental resist or +MP augs rather than things they actually want and can use like +str/att/acc/+store TP/+double att/etc, etc.) But then again, that's would be a lot harder and considerable more lines of code than just allowing people a certain number of re-try's...anyway, I'm excited and will be augmenting everything I can..K.Osode +acc or double attack% ftw *crosses fingers--JavelinX 17:21, 20 July 2009 (UTC) - too bad KO is a R item and cant be auged.

  • No... you still can't re-augment items. In the version update preview it said that you can re-augment the weapons from the pixie quest, but didn't mention anything about re-augmenting items from the elite training regime. --ImperialPanda 18:16, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

SE fails again: Kohlrouladen This delectable dish of seasoned ground beef rolled in pickled cabbage leaves was a popular wartime ration among Republican soldiers.

where are the cows? buffalo isn't beef. i want a cow! an evil cow in xcarbard!! --Littledarc 19:24, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Color-filled Curry Buns!

I'm excited to find out what sort of stats the various Curry Buns will have. Will they be similar to their color-corresponding curries? Stronger? Weaker? Completely different? --Volkai 20:23, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Yet to decide

Correction: SE DID PROMISE us new avatars. There are various interviews where they CLEARLY state this. As for this update, FROM A BRD AND SMN perspective, well it was disappointing.

I have yet to start WotG missons so I cannot comment on that.

you know you can sign right? Pandor 21:16, 20 July 2009 (UTC)

Please cite your sources. It would add more to the disscussion than just saying "yes they did!" --Khyrin 21:46, 20 July 2009 (UTC)
