Super Kupowers

The mystical Super Kupowers of King Kupofried go into effect once all eleven Mog Tablets have been recovered, providing an assortment of benefits for all adventurers within the affected areas. Three powers from the list below are selected at random and remain active for one week (Earth time).

During Adventurer Appreciation Campaigns, all eleven bonuses go into effect at once.

• Thrifty Transit: Outpost teleport sites operate free of charge and the Explorer Moogle teleport service appears, connecting Mhaura, Selbina, and the three nations.
• Martial Master: With Signet, combat, magic, and automaton skills increase more quickly.
• Blood of the Vampyr: Signet grants latent Regen (1 HP/tick) and Refresh (1 MP/tick) when HP/MP falls below 51%.
  • This affects Adventuring Fellows as if they always have Signet.
• Treasure Hound: Signet grants Gilfinder +1 and Treasure Hunter +1.
• Artisan's Advantage: The chance of losing ingredients in a failed synthesis attempt is drastically reduced while the crafter has Synthesis Image Support from their respective guild.
• Myriad Mystery Boxes: Treasure Caskets appear more often.
• Dilatory Digestion: Food effects last twice as long.
• Boundary Buster: The amount of Conquest Points received from defeating enemies is doubled.
• Bountiful Bazaar: All Regional Merchants in the three nations simultaneously open for business.
• Swift Shoes: Resting grants a quickening effect. Resting longer increases the potency and duration of this effect.
  • Swift Shoes also affects Adventuring Fellows.
• Crystal Caboodle: Crystal drop rate is increased, and crystals can also be obtained from beastmen-controlled regions.

Affected Areas[]

These effects are limited to areas from the original FINAL FANTASY XI, the Rise of the Zilart, and Chains of Promathia expansions, with the following areas excluded:

• The regions of Dynamis, Tu'Lia, Lumoria, Promyvion, and Abdhaljs
• Halls of Transference
• Airship routes and Ferry routes

Upon entering an affected area, a message indicating active Super Kupowers is displayed in the chat window.

One week after the 11th Mog Tablet was recovered, the event ends for a short time. The tablets are soon scattered again after an 8-24 hour period. Each World has its own random start time; not all Mog Tablet quests will begin at the same time across all Worlds.

Retired Kupowers[]

Four Super Kupowers were removed in the September 2012 update:

• Mystery Boxes: San d'Oria: Treasure Caskets will appear more frequently around San d'Oria.
• Mystery Boxes: Bastok: Treasure Caskets will appear more frequently around Bastok.
• Mystery Boxes: Windurst: Treasure Caskets will appear more frequently around Windurst.
• Mystery Boxes: Frontier Lands: Treasure Caskets will appear more frequently in the north and other distant lands.

These four were "merged" into the single Myriad Mystery Boxes Super Kupower. Boundary Buster, Bountiful Bazaar, and Dilatory Digestion were replacements for the three missing Kupowers.

One Super Kupower was removed in the June 2014 update:

• Ease of Exploration: the Explorer Moogle teleport service appears, connecting Mhaura, Selbina, and the three nations.

This kupower was merged into Thrifty Transit, and Crystal Caboodle was introduced.
