In the Azimuth Circle event, you are asked to form a party with one other person. Upon doing so, have both party members talk to the moogle and you will be transported to an outside location, such as La Theine. Your level will also be restricted to level 1. You will arrive with the spells of sneak & invisible cast on you, but they wear off very quickly.
In order to complete the event, you will have to direct your partner to where a special item is buried. To get this information, kneel down as if you were healing hp/mp. The information you receive is information to tell your partner; you must wait until you get information from your partner in order to find the buried item (either Myucoco Doll or Ryacoco Doll). There are several checkpoints that are false checkpoints, so do not click around randomly.
You are also given a gate glyph for the city you started from, so once you have found the items, use the gate glyph to return to the city. Upon returning to the city, trade your item with the item of your partner, and then trade the item you received from you partner to the moogle. This will get you the first of the special firework dispensing Yukatas (Otoko Yukata, Onago Yukata).
In order to get the second special firework Yukata (Otokogimi Yukata, Onnagimi Yukata), put on the first firework dispensing Yukata and find a partner who also has the first special firework Yukata and have them put it on. Talk to the moogle and follow the same steps. Note that the moogle can only hand out one prize per Vana'diel day, so if you are fast, you may need to wait until Vana'diel midnight before the moogle will accept the trade.
The only difference is that instead of getting directions such as North, South, or Southwest you will be told only how many "yalms" away they are from the goal.
Once you have completed Azimuth Circle II and received the two yukatas, you can run the event again in order to obtain additional prizes such as fireworks.
