Sloth is one of the "Seven Deadly Sins" which lead to damnation according to some Christian beliefs. The other sins include wrath, greed, envy, gluttony, lust and pride. This accounts to the seven Skull NM's in the Eldieme Necropolis.
Sloth is the sin of being excessively lazy. Not doing any kind of physical or spiritual work. This leads to the punishment of being thrown into the snake pits, if you are sent to Hell. The demon that represents sloth is Belphegor.
