Notes:

  • Timed Spawn around (I-8) on the beach every 1.5 - 2 hours (popped at exactly 1h40 multiple times)
  • Seemed to have very high TP gain and would spam Painful Whip exclusively, with damage increasing after every use. (Started out hitting a 75BLU for 98 and ending at 398 before it was killed)

Painful Whip hit 73 Drk/Sam for an average of 250 each time, didn't increase or decrease in damage.

  • Has a very high regain as mentioned above (if you are using fast weapon(s) it can TP move back to back very often). Doesnt go in his shell like normal Uragnites do. Painful Whip seems to be critical based, would usually do around 50dmg on my 75 PLD without any defensive gear and sometime go up to 148 but rarely more.

Painful whip is easy to dodge, never hit a 75 sam/blm, hits slow enough for a samurai to get seigan and third eye active.

Historical Information

Shankha (Sanskrit: शंख) is the divine Conch shell or sea shell, which is one of the insignia in the Hindu God Vishnu's hands. Lord Vishnu, also called Narayan, is imagined to have four hands. He has a Shankha (a conch shell) on one hand, the Sudarshana Chakra in second, a Gada (a mace) in the third and Padma (lotus flower) in the fourth.

The divine Shankha is identified with, or represented by, the shell of the Indian Ocean species Turbinella pyrum, the sacred chank.

Lord Vishnu is imagined to hold the Shankha on his upper left hand. The Shankha is used to alarm enemies and to start off war. It also represents awakening. The sound emitted from Shanku when blown, is too divine, that is used for regular rituals for Vishnu. Shanku also represents the Insignia of Vishnu. As a result of this, Shanku stands as a Royal State Emblem of Travancore and current state emblem of Kerala.
