When you go the Auction House you can sell your items to other players. After clicking on the Auction window you can choose the option to Sell. This will bring up your inventory window and you can choose the item you would like to sell.

You must enter a price - this is the lowest price you are willing to sell your item for. You will be prompted a few more times with a listing price and then a confirmation to sell.

  • The listing price is based on the amount you are selling your item for and whether the item is stackable or not. The Jeuno Auction House has higher listing prices than the other cities.
  • If you have a full stack of an item and choose to list it, it will put all of them up for auction as one unit. If you have less than a stack of a stackable item, then it will only list them one at a time.
  • You can have a maximum of 7 items up for auction at a time (a stack of an item only takes up 1 slot) across all the Auction Houses. For example, you can have 2 items listed in Bastok, 1 in Jeuno, and 4 in Windurst.
  • An item will stay listed at the Auction House for up to 3 days. If it hasn't been sold within that time the Auction House employees will send it to your Mog House.
  • The formulas for calculating the transaction fee are listed below.
Jeuno auction houses
Single item fee = 2% of the seller's asking price +100 gil.
Stacked item fee = 1% of the seller's asking price +400 gil.
Other auction houses
Single item fee = 1% of the seller's asking price +1 gil.
Stacked item fee = 0.5% of the seller's asking price +4 gil.
