Notes:

  • Aggressive to level 90.
  • Can spawn next ferry ride after being defeated.
  • Can spawn up to three times on the same ferry ride.
  • Special Attacks: Hundred Fists (may use this at 40-75%, if at all), Maelstrom, Cross Attack, Hard Membrane (Evasion boost), Regeneration, and Tentacle.
  • Hundred Fists can be countered by using Flash, Third Eye and Seigan, Invincible, Sentinel, Perfect Dodge, Reprisal, Dread Spikes or high Evasion.
  • Susceptible to Gravity, Bind, and Break.
  • Sea Horror will not spawn on rides where Pirates show up. However, it is theorized that it may spawn right before or after a pirate attack.
  • Does not seem to spawn at night or during rainy (Water) Weather. (Confirmed spawn)
  • Effectively immune to sleep.
  • Killable by many jobs at 75. (see testimonials)
  • Use Sneak while fishing to avoid detection. His travel path on the boat is large enough that it will aggro you if you're in a fishing area without sneak effect on. This includes the top of the stairs on the upper deck.
  • May despawn if left alone.
