How to Obtain

Cannot be auctioned, traded, or bazaared, but can be delivered to a character on the same account.
Cannot be obtained as a random reward from the Gobbie Mystery Box Special Dial and similar sources.

Quests

Speak to Loussaire at G-10 in Bastok Markets (S) and choose the Scholar's Pants. (Wait one game day and zone if you have previously completed this quest for another piece of armor.) Must be SCH to activate the first time from Loussaire, after first activation can be on any job for remaining items.

• Loussaire will ask for the following key items:
  • Slug Mucus - Obtained from Indescript Markings at J-6/G-6/K-5(southeastern part on a rock)/K-5(Very topmost center position of the quadrant)/I-6/I-7 in Pashhow Marshlands (S)
    • Does not pop during Rainy or Stormy Weather.
    • Changes location on Weather changes and jumps after it's selected during this quest.
  • Djinn Ember - Obtained from Indescript Markings at D-11 in Vunkerl Inlet (S)
    • Spawns on top of the fire in the middle of the Ignis Djinns between the ??? and the gate to Jugner Forest (S) (D-11).
    • Appears in windy or clear weather. Indescript Markings are noted to disappear when the time hits 6:00AM. You must wait for 16:00 or windy weather to appear in the area.
• AF+1 Note: When repeating quest to allow for storage of NQ set, Loussaire will not offer quest until Downward Helix ( Scholar's Bracers ) has been completed.

Note: You cannot get the key items if you have started, but not finished a Borghertz's hands quest for another job. (See Talk Page)
