Statistics Scanner An ice-based automaton attachment. Stackable: 12 Note: This is an Automaton Attachment: Automaton Effect Req. Capacity  Occasionally scans target's magic resistances.  Ice x 1 Causes the puppet to evaluate the mob's elemental resistances before choosing a spell. If the puppet thinks it will be resisted, it will not cast a spell. The scanner does not target a mob's weaknesses, but rather avoids an obvious resist. This attachment works on all offensive spells, including enfeebles and nukes. The Spiritreaver Head appears to have a "built-in" scanner. This attachment is not required for it to choose appropriate nukes. Equipping the scanner on extremely difficult mobs may cause it to stop casting offensive spells entirely. The puppet will decide that all spells will get resisted, and thus will not cast anything at all. It has also been observed that using the Scanner alone with 0 maneuvers, or 1-3 Wind maneuvers, Silence will not be cast on monsters with MP that do not cast spells. This was tested on beetles in Ronfaure. With no attachments, silence was cast. With scanner, silence was not cast. Source	Other Uses Resale Price: 585 gil
