Walkthrough
- {Lower Jeuno}Click on the door, Merchant's House, at G-11 (top floor) for a cutscene.
- Optional: {Upper Jeuno} Talk to Shalott at (G-7) in Chocobo Stables for a cutscene.
- {Qufim Island} Go to the northwest point of (F-8) to find a path going down along the cliff and coast to find and click on the Night Flowers for a short cutscene.
- Night Flowers spawn from 21:32 to dawn.
- An NM named Atkorkamuy spawns at (F-8) at the top of the cliff. It is not aggressive, but it is a high level Notorious Monster.
- You will probably need sneak and invisible as a low level.
- Banshee along the way that spawn at 20:00.
- Goblin Bounty Hunter run the coast of the cliff at (F-8).
- A Kraken may spawn right on top of the flowers. It aggros hearing only, so you need sneak to safely click on the Night Flowers and receive the short cutscene.
- Note that the marker on the map image here is slightly east of where the actual walkway/flowers are.
- You must go all the way down and around the pathway to the right of the blue marker on the map to find the "Night Flowers" at the very bottom/end of the path in a seaside cave.
- {Lower Jeuno} After the cutscene, Click on Dietmund's door again (G-11) for your 2100gil and Beast Whistle.
- To unlock Beastmaster (and the title Animal Trainer): when this quest is complete (you've received your Beast Whistle), complete the next quest (Path of the Beastmaster) simply by talking to Brutus at Upper Jeuno (G-7).

- To cure Dietmund's son of his affliction, go to Qufim Island. Once there, find the flower that only blooms at night, and bring back its roots.
