Notes:

  • Seems to pop every 2-3 Hours.
  • Spawns around the southwest corner of G-9.
  • May spawn near or inside the entrance to the cave at G-9 (may need to confirm since i was afk inside the cave entrance when it killed me)
  • I suspect the above user may have been MPK'd, Sargas has never travelled further north than the middle of G-9 in all the time I've spent doing magian trials near him (unless he was chasing someone).
  • Melee attacks have additional effect: Stun
  • Large aggro range
  • Has an Auto-Shock Spikes effect.
  • Seems to be immune to Bind, Gravity, Sleep, Stun and Repose (Elemental Seal Repose resisted also.)
  • Susceptible to Paralyze
  • Has Double Attack
  • BST/WHM or /NIN can solo by charming nearby Antlions and kiting Sargas from east to west. Make sure to get out of battle music range when casting anything because Sargas has sporadic hate.
  • Beast jug pets ineffective, 2 Courier Carrie jugs yielded almost no visible damage.
  • Relatively easy solo by a SCH/RDM, SCH/NIN might have been more useful, kited around a rock in the east side using Desert Boots + Sandstorm and Luminohelix for damage
