• Description: Drains a percentage of damage dealt to HP varying with TP.
  • Will inflict damage on undead but will not drain HP.
• Does not stack with Sneak Attack.
• Not aligned with any elemental gorgets or elemental belts due to its absence of Skillchain properties.

• Appears to use (PlayerINT - TargetINT)*2 rather than fINT. This INT difference does not appear to cap, making INT very potent for this WS
  • Magic Attack Bonus increases this far more than INT, unknown if there is a MAB cap to the damage.

Levels

• Sanguine Blade is only available to Paladin, Blue Mage, Warrior, Dark Knight, or Rune Fencer. While other jobs can obtain the required 300 Sword skill through the use of merits and special equipment, they must use one of the aforementioned jobs as their support job in order to gain access to Sanguine Blade.

• Sword skill level 300 is obtainable by the following jobs at these corresponding levels:
