Job Ability

  • Allows you to counterattack but reduces movement speed.
  • Obtained: Warrior Level 60

  • Distance: Self

Notes/Description

  • You gain TP from retaliating.
  • You can retaliate Counter.
  • You can gain weapon skill ups from retaliating.
  • Will only activate if a hit is taken.
  • Level difference affects activation rate.(can be quite drastic, 0 retaliations at Shiva fight)
  • Can activate on a mob that is not currently locked on while facing it.
  • Unlike Counter, you still take damage with Retaliation.
  • Currently unknown if activation rate can be modified by stats or other buffs.
  • Appears to have similar movement decrease as one Dusk item (e.g. Dusk Gloves).
  • Works with Third Eye but no TP will be given if the attack is anticipated.
