Obtained:
- After completing Treasures of Aht Urhgan Mission 17, speak to Zasshal in Aht Urhgan Whitegate. In exchange for 500 Assault Points from any one Assault area, Zasshal will give you the permit.
- You can only obtain one permit per day. It is possible to participate in two successive Salvage runs by obtaining one permit in advance, doing one run, then purchasing another permit. Zasshal will not give a second permit in the same day until after Japanese Midnight.
- If you have
Rhapsody in Azure, the time limit between purchasing a Remnants Permit is one hour (Earth time).

Notes:
- You must be on a level 65+ job to obtain your permit.
- Used to enter Salvage areas. Consumed upon entry to Arrapago Remnants, Bhaflau Remnants, Silver Sea Remnants, or Zhayolm Remnants.
- Allows entry to Alzadaal Undersea Ruins from any entrance without needing to pay the fee of an Imperial Silver Piece. This will not consume the permit.
- Note that using the Runic Portal to enter the ruins via the Nyzul Isle Staging Point still requires a Runic Portal Use Permit as usual.
- The permit remains in the player's inventory indefinitely until it is used to enter a Salvage area.
