Walkthrough[]
- Speak to the Machine Outfitter at Base Camp to log this quest. If you zone at any point during this quest, you will lose all progress and key items needed to complete it.
- There are eight martellos scattered throughout the zone.
- It is now possible to complete this quest even the martello's HP is at 100%.
- Return to the Machine Outfitter at Base Camp to complete this quest. You can do the quest only once per Vana'diel day, but may require zoning.

- Regular replenishment of the Martello located throughout the Altepa Desert is vital to the resistance effort in this area. Refuel a Martello and return the empty vat to the machine outfitter when your task is complete.
- Note: The Martello must be below 90% of maximum capacity to receive the option to refuel it.
