Base En-spell (enfire, enblizzard, enthunder, enwater, enstone, enaero) damage is affected by the caster's enhancing magic skill, day, and weather effects. The formula for doing so is as follows:

at appox 150(?) in skill, the formula changes

  • < 150
(√(enhancing_magic_skill) - 1) * (1 + weather_modifier + date_modifier)
  • > 150
(( enhancing_magic_skill / 20 ) + 5 ) * (1 + weather_modifier + date_modifier)

  • Weather modifiers are:
Corresponding weather: 0.1 (10%)
Double corresponding weather: 0.25 (25%)

  • Day modifiers are:
Corresponding day: 0.1 (10%)

Example: At enhancing magic of 171, on double ice weather, using Enblizzard, we get:

((171 / 20) + 5) * 1.25 = 16.9375 ~ 16 additional dmg per hit.

Using this calculation, we can see we get 1 more dmg/hit every 20 levels of enhancing magic.

This is the maximum damage that could be done, providing the weather effect kicks in every time. Otherwise, you'll see an additional 13 damage per hit without the weather effect.

Tier II enspells

Tier II enspell base damage starts out at the same number as the tier I spell, but will increase their damage each time the effect procs. The damage cap lies at twice the base damage. So at 260 enhancing skill, the first hit will deal 18 damage, and increases up to 36. 280 skill will deal 19 damage at first, and caps at 38!
