Walkthrough

• Begin the quest at Abquhbah.
• Head towards the weapon shop owner, Hagakoff (K-10), for another cutscene.
• Go back to Abquhbah for another cutscene.
• Go back to Hagakoff for yet another cutscene.
• Head to Wajaom Woodlands (I-10), to enter Aydeewa Subterrane on map 2.
• Head to (I-9), to enter the heart-shaped room that extends from there to (J-8).
• Check the mushroom patch at the intersection of (I-9) and (J-8), to get a mature scourshroom.
  • Note that you cannot use the mature scourshroom for the quest; you need one that hasn't been growing very long.
  • There are sound-aggro Defoliators and Diremites in this room. You should only need Sneak when harvesting. There are also chigoe-type mobs here that aggro through Sneak; you may need Invisible when walking through.
• Plant the mature scourshroom in the mushroom patch found at the middle of the line between (I-9) and (J-9).
• Now head to (E-7) and do the same for the mushroom patches located in that area. Pick from one patch a mature scourshroom and plant it in the other patch. This will allow you to get at least two mature scourshrooms to rank up.
• Zone, wait until the game day changes and return to both mushroom patches to retrieve the mature scourshrooms.
  • It's best to pick during the morning hours, for a higher yield; you will typically get two young scourshrooms when picking between 4:00 and 6:00.
  • You will need to return to Abquhbah before you can pick/plant another mature scourshroom.
    • Note: You are still able to pick/plant another mature scourshroom at (E-7) without having to go back to Abquhbah.
• Take the young scourshroom back to Abquhbah.
  • Adequate cleaning will require a minimum of two young scourshrooms, so you may need to return to Aydeewa Subterrane, for more.
  • If Abquhbah says the rust has completely disappeared, then you can choose to finish the quest, though you can also choose to do more cleaning.
• After the rust is gone and you've chosen to stop cleaning, you will receive your promotion and a bonus:
  • If you cleaned it two times (the minimum), you will receive one Imperial Mythril Piece.
  • If you cleaned it five times (the maximum), you will receive an added bonus of one Imperial Gold Piece.
    • Ensure you have inventory space prior to initiating the final cutscene, or you will be required to repeat the cutscene to complete the quest.
