Walkthrough
Note: This mission requires a certain level of Rank Bar. Trade 4-5 crystals to the gate guard, or complete repeatable missions up to several times.
- Get the mission from a Gate Guard.
- Go to the Door: Papal Chambers on the third floor of the Cathedral and click the door for a cutscene before leaving for the Bostaunieux Oubliette.
- Form a full alliance of level 60+ characters (a party of 70+ characters can handle this mission easily).
- There are 3 methods of getting to your West Ronfaure destination after the cutscene:
- 1. Enter Bostaunieux Oubliette. Use Silent Oil or cast Sneak after dropping down the sewer hatch at (E-7)/(E-8) on Map 1; even 90s will get aggro from the Haunts and Garm on the way to the zone. Talk to Couchatorage to drop down. If you have the Survival Guide, it will place you at the dropdown point A on Map 2.
- Hug the right wall and follow the paths until you zone into West Ronfaure at (E-8). Do not go over the edge. If you go over, there is no way back up except to go through it all over again.
- 2. It's possible to save time by using 100 Accolades for a unity warp. Talk to any Unity Concord NPC, select "Bring Me to a Wanted encounter area," pick "Content level 122," then select Bostaunieux Oubliette. This will warp you to the West Ronfaure exit.
- 3. The ??? can also be easily reached via a Geomagnetic Fount involved in the quest Middle Lands Investigation. If you have not done this quest, it is advised you start it so you can register the fount. If you know someone who has hit this point, you can Nexus Cape to them for easy access to the ???.
- Inspection of the ??? at West Ronfaure (E-8) will spawn Marauder Dvogzog, a level 67 Orc Monk NM with about 16,000 HP.
- He will use Hundred Fists at around 50% HP. Just Bind him during Hundred Fists.

- Once defeated, everyone needs to inspect the ??? again for the
Ancient San d'Orian tablet.
- If you zone before checking the ??? after the NM is dead, you will need to kill him again.
- If you invite players who have just killed the NM but have not completed the mission before you pop it, you will not be able to, even if all concerned zone out and in again.
- If you zone in order to recover from a wipe or regroup, you will need to wait around 5~10 minutes in order to pop it again.
- Return to San d'Oria and examine the Door: Papal Chambers to trigger a cutscene. After the cutscene the mission is complete.
