PlayOnline is the program and website developed by Square Enix to manage the two online games Final Fantasy XI and TetraMaster (TetraMaster has since been removed from the service). PlayOnline spreads across all platforms that Final Fantasy XI can be played on such as PCs, PlayStation 2, and Xbox360. PlayOnline has several other features such as the ability to create chatrooms, manage your friends list, contact your friends, and more. Originally, the website was a companion guide to the BradyGames official guidebook for Final Fantasy IX.
