Peace for the Spirit

This is the third Red Mage Artifact Armor quest - otherwise known as AF3.

Walkthrough

As a Red Mage, go to Curilla located in Chateau d'Oraguille.
Go to Sharzalion located in the Lion Springs tavern near the Mog House in Southern San d'Oria.
Head towards Fei'Yin located in Beaucedine Glacier.
After zoning into Fei'Yin, a notorious monster named Miser Murphy will spawn near the Dry Fountain at (H-8) on the first floor. He is a ghost type NM with additional effect of drain on all of his regular attacks. This drain can do upwards of 600 damage to a player, restoring the NMs HP in the process. Miser Murphy cannot be bound easily. This can be a very hard fight. You should bring three Lv 75 characters and a Reraise scroll to be relatively safe.
Just fought this NM with 75PLD/37WAR, 75SAM/37NIN, and a 68RDM/34WHM PLD straight tanked SAM DD RDM just haste/refresh/and heal enffebles easy fight took less than 5 mins.
Very very Easily Duoed by 75RDM/NIN and 75DRG/THF (Thief for TA to avoid being hit with the HP Drain). Not sure what was so hard about this.
When he is killed, Miser Murphy drops an Antique Coin. Trade this coin to the Dry Fountain for a cutscene.
- Note: You don't have to be RDM in order for Miser Murphy to spawn. He can be killed by any job as long as the quest is started while you're on RDM.

Return to Southern San d'Oria and speak to Sharzalion. Then speak with Daggao, the Galka down by the stage to the right.
Head to Garlaige Citadel with a party of four. Immediately past the Banishing Gate #1, there is an Oaken Box in the first room to the left. Select this box to spawn Guardian Statue.
- Note: If you wish to avoid the four-player switch for Banishing Gate #1, access the Cavernous Maw in Sauromugue Champaign (S) and re-enter the Citadel from the present.
Once defeated, the Guardian Statue drops a Nail Puller. Trade the Nail Puller to the Oaken Box for a cutscene.
- Note: Like his counterpart, Miser Murphy, he only drops one Nail Puller at a time.
- Note: You do not have to be Red Mage to get the cutscene or to spawn Guardian Statue.
Zone into Northern San d'Oria for the final cutscene and your Warlock's Chapeau.
- Note: You must zone into Northern San d'Oria from Southern San d'Oria. Zoning from your Mog House does not work.
- Edit: If you're from San d'Oria, you can zone in using FoV and still get cutscene when zoning in. Also, you do NOT need to be a Red Mage for this CS to take effect.
