History

In Hindu mythology, Pavan, also known as Vayu, Vāta, Pavana, or sometimes Prāna, is a primary Hindu deity, the Lord of the winds, the father of Bhima and the spiritual father of Lord Hanuman.

It is also one of the five classical elements in Hindu mythology being Vayu(Air)/Pavan(Wind), Ap/Jala (Water), Tejas/Agni (Fire), Kshiti/Bhumi (Earth) and Akash/Byom (AEther/Void)
