Padfoot's spawn points

Notes[]

  • Five Padfoot's spawn approximately every 21-24 hours.
    • One of them will spawn at each of the following areas: (F-7), (G-7)-(H-8), (H-9), (I-8)-(I-9), and (K-9).
    • Spawns in small, 10-20 second windows at every 30 minute interval from 21 to 24 hours (i.e. 21:00, 21:30, 22:00, etc). However, this is not absolute – it been known to spawn up to 5 minutes before or after the 30 minute intervals in some cases.
  • Soloable by most jobs at level 53.
  • Either an Assailant's Ring or an Astral Earring will always drop from the "true copy" Padfoot, who is randomly chosen. When one of those items drops, any unclaimed Padfoots immediately despawn.
  • The other 4 copies always drop a Lanolin and a Sheepskin.
    • Meaning, there is a 4/5 chance they will drop from the Padfoot you engage, and 1/5 chance the ring or earring will drop.

Historical Background[]

Padfoot is the name of a spirit that haunts the Leeds area in Yorkshire, which is in northern England. It has been seen in three forms: a sheep with shaggy fleece and fiery eyes, a big white or black dog, or a black donkey with huge glaring eyes; sometimes it is even reported as being invisible. People who see it often first hear the padding of its feet as it walks up behind them. They then supposedly hear either a loud roar or the sound of chains.
