- Appears in Promathia Mission 4-2: The Savage, and the following BCNMs: Ouryu Cometh, The Wyrmking Descends
- Special attacks: Draw In, Invincible, Absolute Terror, Bai Wing, Geotic Breath, Ochre Blast, Spike Flail, Touchdown, Typhoon Wing, Slowga, Stonega II, Stonega III, Stoneskin, Break, Breakga.
- Susceptible to: Sleep, Lullaby, Silence, Bind, Gravity, Blind, Paralyze, Curse (from Igqira/Genie equipment or Koschei Crackows backlash, for 11% health reduction). He builds up resistance to these spells, however, and cannot be slept while airborne.
- Periodically lifts into the sky and flies overhead, causing his melee attacks to become an earth-based magical attack. Mistmelt, obtained from the quest Fly High, will force Ouryu to return to the ground.
- If using Astral Flow during Promanthia Mission 4-2: The Savage, Shiva's Diamond Dust appears to work better than Garuda's Aerial Blast.

Historical Background[]
In Chinese mythology, Huang Long is a hornless dragon which once emerged from the River Luo and presented the legendary Emperor Fu Xi with the elements of writing. According to legend, when it appeared before Fu Xi, it filled a hole in the sky made by the monster Gong Gong. Its waking, sleeping, and breathing determined day and night, seasons, and weather.
In East Asian culture, there is sometimes a fifth Guardian Beast of the Si Xiang. This deity is the guardian of the center and it represents the element earth, the Chinese quintessence, as well as the changing of the seasons.
Huang Long does not appear in Japanese mythology: the fifth element in the Japanese elemental system is Void, so there cannot be an animal representing it. Because of this, Huang Long is often forgotten. However, some consider the Ouryu (Ōryū, yellow dragon) as the Japanese counterpart of Huang Long since they share some similarities.
