Notes:

  • 100,000 HP
  • Casts Sleepga II, Breakga, Blindga, Bindga, Blizzard IV, Blizzaga III, Slowga, Paralyga, and Dread Spikes (can be dispelled with Finale).
  • Sanngetall: AoE damage and dispel that dispells all buffs. Used every time 10% of its HP is lost, with the exception of the last 10% where it will be replaced by Zantetsuken. (8 Times total)
  • Gagnrath: AoE damage and Terror.
  • Valfodr: AoE damage and Curse + Silence.
  • Geirrothr: AoE damage similar to 10,000 Needles plus bind. Used each time 25% of its HP is lost (3 times total).
    • Note: It is wise to have all unweakened members get in range of these attacks as to absorb the damage.
  • Ofnir: AoE damage. (Might be magic damage)Verification Needed
  • Yggr: Gives Odin the ability to Intimidate players.
  • Zantetsuken: Astral Flow like ability, will use just as hp is ~10%. Deals death to everyone in range. He will speak about 5 seconds before performing the move, and it seems to be about a 30 ft radius around Odin. It is possible to have many people run out of the area before he performs this move.
    • Note: It has been said before that using the /kneel or /heal command to Odin or healing before he performs this can also prevent the death from affecting players, however it will still damage any players who are /kneeling or /healing, it did about 500 damage to a moderately geared PLD/NIN
      • The /kneel command will not reliably prevent instant death from Zantetsuken. While still in the kneel position from the command, Zantetsuken still can instantly kill you. The /heal command will more reliably prevent instant death, though anyone in range will still take damage from the ability.
  • Can drop up to 5 of the aforementioned items. Only 1 can be an Odin unique item. It's possible for 0 Odin unique items to drop. It is also possible for 2 of the same abjuration to drop.
  • He summons 9 fomors during the battle. These fomors are named after the other 9 chambers of Einherjar and should be handled with care. Three fomors will spawn at a time. They will despawn after 10% damage is done.
  • First set (3 fomors) will arrive at 90-60% health
  • Second set (3 fomors) will arrive at 50-20% health
  • Third set (3 fomors) will arrive after Zantetsuken is used (at <10%)
  • The best way to deal with them is to kite each pop until 10% damage to Odin is done. They will depop after that.
  • Defeating Odin (specifically receiving the title Elite Einherjar) is required to complete the quest "An Imperial Heist."
