Since you've gone through all the trouble of coming here, I suppose I'm obliged to inform you that I am able to engrave your equipment with arcane glyptics in exchange for escha silt.

If you have not spoken with Affi in Escha - Zi'Tah and paid 10 silt for a general explanation of how Escha zones and Geas Fete works, Nolan will not talk to you, telling you he is not open for business yet.
Three Eschalixir +2 (or the equivalent value using Eschalixir, Eschalixir +1 and/or Eschalixir +2) are needed to fully upgrade one piece. Trade your piece with one of the eschalixirs to choose your augmenting path and have the piece mezzotinted in preparation for the augments; the eschalixir will be returned. Then trade your piece with your eschalixirs (he will also take one 
Escha Silt fee) to receive your augments and rank up. You must get to rank 15 for max augments.
