Merits in Avatar Magical Attack and gear/effects that specifically enhances avatar magic attack will increase the damage.
If the target is asleep, then this ability does ~40% more damage.
When used in conjunction with a BLM Sleep II or Nightmare, this ability did ~1100 compared to ~850 or so; seems to be a ~30% damage boost, but the source of sleep doesn't seem to matter.
May have a similar system of calculation as Dream Shroud, favoring higher damage closer to 0:00 and lower at 12:00.
