You can fish up a Hydrogauge in several locations including Al Zahbi, Whitegate, Nashmau, and on the ferry between Whitegate and Nashmau. The Hydrogauge gave the text "You're positive you don't have enough skill to reel this one in." with 0 fishing skill. In each Nation, you will be required to trade a few specific Items and Imperial Coins to a House and waiting till Midnight JST to get your reward. <s>These have to be done before doing the Against All Odds quest for the Corsair's Tricorne.</s> To see the specific items, check out the individual pages for each Corsair AF (Corsair's Gants, Corsair's Bottes, & Corsair's Frac). |

− | *Further Note: You do NOT need to get the crafted pieces of AF before completing Against All Odds quest. I completed the quest before speaking to Leleroon at all, and subsequently got all my AF pieces (which you can get in any order!). |

Walkthrough
- After completing Equipped for All Occasions, return to Arrapago Reef's ??? (Note: This is H-10 on map 1) as Corsair 50+. If you head out from Nashmau, you may want to set your home point there, so you can warp out of Arrapago Reef and complete the next necessary steps in Nashmau.
- You need a Lamian Fang Key if traveling from Nashmau or using an Atmacite Refiner's teleportation service to Arrapago Reef.
- You can obtain a free Lamian Fang Key once per Vana'diel day (resetting at 0:00 game time) from a ??? in Caedarva Mire (H/I-7), in a small crevice behind a Jnun.
- You can use the Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point to bypass the need for a Lamian Fang Key, but now that the key is so readily available at the ???, using the Ilrusi Atoll Staging Point is unnecessarily time-consuming.
- You need a Lamian Fang Key if traveling from Nashmau or using an Atmacite Refiner's teleportation service to Arrapago Reef.
- Examine the ??? for a cutscene during which you are told to find a Hydrogauge. You cannot fish up the Hydrogauge before this point.
- From this point on, Corsair does not need to be your main job.
- Fish up a Hydrogauge. It will behave like any fished item, giving the message "You feel something pulling at your line."
- It can be fished up from Aht Urhgan Whitegate, Al Zahbi, Nashmau, and Silver Sea route to Al Zahbi, with any rod and any bait.
- Aht Urhgan Whitegate has the fewest fish to interfere with Hydrogauge fishing attempts. You can use any rod and Insect Ball, purchasable at Wahnid (H-11).
- After fishing up your Hydrogauge, trade it to Leleroon at Nashmau (G-7), bottom floor.
- Next, head to the Leypoint in Wajaom Woodlands at (G-8), and trade the Hydrogauge to the Leypoint for the message "You set the Hydrogauge in the glowing trench."
- You don't need to trade this as a Corsair, so the Leypoint can be conveniently warped to by any 60+ job using an Olduum Ring.
- Wait one minute (Earth time) and reexamine the Leypoint for a cutscene.
- Return to Arrapago Reef and check the ??? for a cutscene with Zweeha and your reward.
