Reward:	NPC Gains Blessed Radiance Special Attack Strengthens the bonds between you and your adventuring fellow. (Increases max Adventuring Fellow Bond to 120).

Speak to Luto Mewrilah for a cutscene.
Head to Qu'Bia Arena in Fei'Yin for a solo Level 50 cap BCNM with a 15 minute time limit.
Defeat the boss.
Speak to Luto Mewrilah for a cutscene. Must have Signal Pearl on you.
Click on the first door on the left inside Neptune's Spire in Lower Jeuno for final cutscene.

The BCNM enemy is Vassago, a Demon Dark Knight with a Scythe; he casts Drain, Aspir, and Absorb spells, and uses Demon TP attacks.
He also does Blighted Gloom, a very strong Darkness attack, which ignores shadows.

If this is directed at you, you can easily run out of range to avoid damage; from his "Mirror of Blighted Gloom...I command thee" message to when he actually uses it is 10 seconds. Run away when he uses it.
If Your NPC is targeted, however, Blighted Gloom will be countered with Blessed Radiance (so Stalwart Shield works well).
If you still have hate, standing behind the NPC (as you would do for Cover or Trick Attack) will cause the ability to hit the NPC instead.
- Confirmed: RDM/WHM with Fierce Attacker NPC. While kiting, I ran directly behind NPC when Blighted Gloom message appeared, I took 0 damage and NPC countered with Blessed Radiance.
Blessed Radiance is a very powerful counter ability. It will take Vassago down about 25-30%.

He is reportedly very susceptible to Paralyze. Silence and Slow will also stick.
His melee attacks are very strong, dealing around 150-200 damage.
Doing this BC on Lightday is recommended.
If you get KO or NPC is KO, you are ejected from the battlefield.
The NPC and Vassago will not do any action until you approach them.
You have just 15 minutes to defeat Vassago.

After you have completed this quest your NPC will sometimes use Blessed Radiance when one or both of your HP gauges are in the red.
