The Mineral Vein is available for excavation in your Mog Garden after completing the quest Mining Missive. It can be upgraded to (at least) level 3. You can mine your Mineral Vein 3 times per day at rank 1, 5 times a day at rank 2, and 6 times a day at rank 3, Items which enhance your mineral vein may be purchased from Ceciliotte in exchange for Bayld. Your vein rank increases the number of times you can excavate items, up to a maximum of 14 times at rank 7. At rank , you have up to 4 mineral veins, each with a slightly different loot pool.
