Regarding Frayed Sack (M1), Frayed Sack (H1), Frayed Sack (A1); edited without comment. What was the purpose of removing the mobile formatting and the references to the Login Campaigns?
Are you having display issues on those pages? If so, we should have a dialogue about what can be done to fix that, in order that a problem isn't spread across the site rather than blind changes.
The latter reference issue is a function of the SeeAlso template, which has subsequently placed it back on the page in a less organised format. Is there a reason you wanted that info removed?
I didn't realize I had done damage to the mobile formatting by applying the Item_Template to each of those items. A lot of item pages use raw HTML instead of the template and when editing the June 2017 login campaign page I thought it wouldn't be a bad idea to do some standardization on those pages. if I'm missing something from the template options or if Item_Template itself doesn't display properly on mobile, then there's a broader issue to address.
The SeeAlso template was applied in what I hoped would be a more maintainable way of identifying the sources of the sacks, but it looks like at the very minimum I have munched the organization by misapplying the template instead of going with the Template:Exclusive2 tag to avoid miscategorization of the items. I notice now that if I fix that, my own wall will show up. So I don't know how to move forward from there and it might be best just to revert that change.
That's fine - I was worried you were getting issues with layout on your screen. The item template isn't the greatest and under revision by Karu atm. To that end, when I was creating new items, I wasn't bothering to use it as it didn't seem to save any space and was restrictive in producing a good layout (eg with the item pic sat at the top of the page, a large amount of visible whitespace is generated, hence my move to shift it to the right of the written duplication - though not via a table due to the aforementioned mobile visuals, but via a floating section).
My purpose in creating SeeAlso was for editors to be able to see on preview/creation a 'What Links Here' that specifically excluded UserPages and links that already existed on the page, thereby enabling editors to add missing information before publishing. Its second function then is concerning new additions to the site, which would pop up under this category enabling editors to see at a glance if information needed to be added. An example of this is when a new crafting recipe with old ingredients is made, the ingredient page may not be updated by the editor. Another is if a drop is added to an enemy and the editor doesn't then update the drop page. It catches these sorts of things, but the aim of it is to ultimately be a blank section on each page.
fyi Exclusive2 (and all such tags) were deprecated in favour of Exclusive|nc (and the equivalents) in 2014. Should probably make that note on the page, but I guess ppl who have used it before wouldn't have a need to look at the template page itself. Mayhap Karu can bot it off the wiki altogether - I'll ask him now.
Thank you for the update to Idris!! I noticed you updated it with the Afterglow version. I'm just wondering if the non-afterglow and afterglow versions should have separate pages.
I'm working on the Saved by the Bell quest and am preparing for the fight (working on getting JP MAtkB and MAccB to 20, etc). Any other advice on preparing for the fight? I understand the concept and what one needs to do thanks to Nicoleska and other online discussions, but . . .
I'm wondering is there an easy way to tell one "pet" from the other, once there are many of them out there. Obviously nuking with the correct spell is important.
The color and shape of the luopan cores tell you what element they are. This video is illustrative https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c8Y3y2brdpA
No need to memorize by spell name, just look at the color (yellow = earth, nuke wind, red = fire, nuke water) and just nuke the same day's element on the light/darkness luopans.
Consumables are the way to go, your casting time will be locked up nuking down your opponent's luopans. Kitron Juice is available from Curio Vendor Moogles if you've advanced far enough into Rhapsodies missions. MAcc Food (Pear Crepe) as well. Indi-Regen should be good enough to keep you alive, but I wouldn't say no to a Vile Elixir/+1 combo in case things get hairy.
I've given you Sysop rights, so you can delete/move/rename articles as you see fit. Obviously in such cases the priority is maintaining an article's history, so move/rename is preferable to creating a new article and deleting an incorrectly titled one.
Karuberu has also recently mentioned that in some cases it may well be worth keeping outdated item images for the historical record.
You should have access to .css / .js too, in the case you wanted to do something with mobile appearance.
The Discord channel is up to 197 members, which makes it a good place for discussion and feedback if you need it. The general conversation is pretty much perpetual, but we have a dedicated wiki-editing channel too.
Sorry, just checking the teleport logs and I had to move the original Adoulinian Tunes to the KI page, as the KI was on it. That left Adoulinian Tunes empty because I didn't have the info to complete it.
Adoulinian Tunes was a redirect page when I found it and all it did was redirect to the KI, so I didn't know which way was up when I made my edits, I'll remove the redirect pragma on Adoulinian Tunes and edit it to be the inventory item, and restore the KI info to Sheet of Adoulinian Tunes
I see one as part of the top Fandom Nav bar. Clicking on the word 'Search' opens up the input bar. That bit was recently changed so if it's not working for you I suggest reaching out to the fandom support team to see why it's broken for you. https://community.wikia.com/wiki/Special:Contact
