Spawns amongst the Glen Crab at (G-11) roughly every 10 minutes once Crab Dominion has reached 100%.
Absorbs magic damage - in effect all elemental magic damage/Skillchain damage/additional effects damage done to it while it is in shell will heal it. Dot spells will likely be resisted in this mode (such as absorb TP or aspir).
Either extremely high defense or extremely high damage reduction; It is highly advised to get as much melee dot dmg on it to get it back out of shell.
Can be damaged by magic and weaponskills.
May occasionally absorb a magical or melee attack
Moves at an enhanced speed (approx +12%).
Gains a Stoneskin effect (non-dispellable) once it comes out of it's shell. (Approx. 2k). HOWEVER: once it moves toward rage mode, it will move to increasing levels of resistance.
High damage effects may send it inside its shell faster, and it seems to spend time at lower HP mostly inside the shell. it is recommended to keep melee doing auto-attack during this time so it does not heal too much HP. Red WILL proc when mob is inside shell. Blue proc in shell in unconfirmed (red proced on Earth Crusher from nin just today in my alliance). High Elemental Spell damage will immediately send it back into its shell, so keep mage dmg low, preferable t3 or less (atma dependent).
