A character's Main Job (Current Job) is the primary job he/she has chosen to use, and the only one of that character's jobs which will gain or lose any Experience Points.
After one of a character's jobs has reached level 18, he/she can do a quest to unlock the ability to choose a Support Job to complement his/her Main Job. (See Support Job for more info.)
A character can change his/her Main Job (and Support Job, if unlocked) in the following ways:
- By talking with the Moogle in the Mog House,
- Via the Mog House menu, or
- By talking with a Nomad Moogle.
