  • Recommended: Level 60+ character, or level 50+ character with Sneak/Invisible, or party of 40+. Map of Beadeaux, Map of Davoi, and Map of Castle Oztroja.
  • If you already have the 4 key items (Crest of Davoi, Yagudo Torch, Coruscant rosary, Black Matinee Necklace) from doing this mission for another nation, you can be just about any level, as long as you have Sneak (Silent Oil) and Invisible (Prism Powder).
  • Unlike most missions, this mission is not offered by a Gate Guard.
  • This mission requires a certain level of Rank Bar. Complete 2 or 3 repeatable missions or trade 4 crystals to a Conquest Overseer.
    • Ru’Lude Gardens (H-10) - Morlepiche will accept crystals.

Walkthrough

Jeuno

  1. Ru’Lude Gardens - Talk to your embassy's receptionist to begin the mission.
  2. Ru’Lude Gardens - Check your ambassador's office door for the Archducal audience permit.
  3. Ru’Lude Gardens (H-6) - Check the Audience Chamber to get the Letter to Aldo.
  4. Lower Jeuno (J-8) – Talk to Aldo (inside Neptune's Spire Inn) to get the Silver bell.

Preliminary key items required to complete the mission

Beadeaux - obtaining the trade-ins: Quadav Charm, Quadava Augury Shell, Coeurl Meat

  1. Travel to Beadeaux (entrance at L-11 of Pashhow Marshlands)
    • Quadav on the path inside go up to level 39 and will hearing-aggro to players under level 55 unless they are Sneaked.
  2. Beadeaux (H-7) Map 1 - Follow the north/left wall to go down into Map 2 via exit A.
  3. Beadeaux (G-7) Map 2 - Go down following the north/right wall to examine The Mute and eceive Silence (status effect).
    • This will allow you to pass by The Afflictor without being Cursed.
  4. Beadeaux (F-8) Map 2 - Continue further in Map 2 to go up to Map 1 via exit B.
  5. Beadeaux (E-10) Map 1 - Go south following the west/left wall to find the ramp out of the water to the elevator floor.
    1. Along the way use The Mute again if you ran out of silence (Afflictor coming up again soon after).
  6. Beadeaux (I-9) Map 1 - Travel the elevated path to find and defeat De'Vyu Headhunter. It drops up to 4 Quadav Charms (only need one per player).
  7. Beadeaux (F-6) Map 1 - Also on the elevated portion, find and defeat Go'Bhu Gascon. It drops up to 4 Quadav Augury Shells (only need one per player).
  8. Coeurl Meat - drops from all Coeurls.

Jeuno - Trading trade-ins for the preliminary key items

  1. Upper Jeuno (G-7) – (southwest corner) Talk to Baudin.
  2. Lower Jeuno (J-8) - Talk to Sattal-Mansal (outside Aldo's room in the basement of Neptune's Spire).
  3. Trade him the Quadav Charm to obtain the Coruscant rosary.
  4. Trade him the Quadav Augury Shell to obtain the Black Matinee Necklace.
  5. Upper Jeuno (I-8) - Talk to Paya-Sabya to initiates a cut scene.
  6. Lower Jeuno (H-9) - (Muckvix’s Junk Shop) Talk to him to receive the Yagudo Torch.
    • You are now ready to get Magicite. Double check you have all 4 key items before going.

Magicite (Davoi, Beadeaux, Oztroja)

  • The three magicite can be examined in any order.
    • If you are on the Windurst (S) Mission Howl from the Heavens, you will need to touch each Magicite twice: once for the shard, then once for the cutscene and magicite.

Davoi Magicite: Optistone

  1. Travel to Davoi (entrance at (G-12) of Jugner Forest).
  2. Davoi (G-7) - Go in and head west/north to go across a bridge and find the Wall of Dark Arts to get through it.
    • To pass through the Wall, clicking it opens up a UI menu.
      • You have to not be Invisible to click, and Orc will aggro and interrupt this.
    • Past the wall is entrance to #3 to the Monastic Cavern.
    • Orcs along the path go up to level 39 and will sight-aggro to players under level 55 unless they are Invisible.
    • Wolf Bats are level 25-29 and will hearing-aggro players under level 43 unless they are Sneaked.
    • A friend with the Crest of Davoi can Tractor you through the Wall.
  3. Monastic Cavern (F-5) - Check the Magicite at the end of the hall to receive Magicite: Optistone.

Beadeaux Magicite: Aurastone

  1. Travel to Beadeaux (entrance at L-11 of Pashhow Marshlands).
    • The fastest way is to book warp by Survival Guide to Derfland > Beadeaux.
    • Otherwise, Unity warp to Pashhow Marshlands (Level 122 category) and head to (L-11).
  2. Beadeaux (H-7) Map 1 - Follow the north/left wall to go down into Map 2 via exit A.
    • Quadav along the path go up to level 28 and will hearing-aggro to players under level 42 unless they are Sneaked.
  3. Beadeaux (I-7) Map 2 - Go down and turn left to enter Qulun Dome (entrance #1).
  4. Qulun Dome (E-7) - Open the door and proceed into the hall.
  5. Qulun Dome (E-10)- Check the Magicite at the end of the hall to receive Magicite: Aurastone.

Castle Oztroja Magicite: Orastone

  1. Travel to Castle Oztroja (entrance at (L-8) in Meriphataud Mountains).
  2. Castle Oztroja (J-8) Map 1 - Go through the Brass Door (I-8) and go up the stairs to Map 3 (A).
    • One lever opens the door, and the other triggers the trapdoor.
    • You will not be able to throw a lever unless you are standing on the trapdoor.
    • The correct lever changes every Vana'diel day.
    • Since there is a significant delay, an easy way to avoid the trap is to throw a lever and then immediately run off the trapdoor.
  3. Castle Oztroja (G-7) Map 3 - After (A), go north then west to go up to Map 7 via (F).
  4. Castle Oztroja (I-7) Map 7- From (F), go north to enter Map 2 via (I).
  5. Castle Oztroja (H-9) Map 2 - Going forward, you can hug the right/West wall to reach the Yagudo Torch.
    • Click on the Yagudo Torch to light them, which opens the Brass Door.
      • You have to not be Invisible to click, and Yagudo will aggro and interrupt this.
  6. Castle Oztroja (G-10) Map 2 - Go through the door and go right/West to enter the Altar Room (entrance #1).
    • If you spoke to Paya-Sabya and Muckvix, you will get a cutscene with Fickblix. If you are repeating this mission and you skipped those two, this cutscene will be skipped.
  7. Altar Room (I-8) - Check the Magicite at the end of the hall to receive Magicite: Orastone.

Return to Jeuno

  1. Ru’Lude Gardens (H-6) - Return to the Audience Chamber. You will receive an Airship pass.
    • If you already have an Airship pass, you will receive 20,000 gil instead.
  2. Ru’Lude Gardens - Return to your embassy's receptionist to complete the mission. You will receive Rank 5, Message to Jeuno, and 10,000 gil.
    • Mission 5-1 will begin immediately. You will not be able to change allegiance until you complete 5- 1 or reject the mission offer in the following cutscene.
