Notes:

  • If a Lycopodium hears you nearby, it will follow you until you move out of its spawn area. (this nature is similar to Hpemde, but unlike Hpemde, they do not initiate an "attack mode.")
  • It has been confirmed that a Lycopodium will continue to follow a player even after the player has put up Sneak and Invisible. This is thought to be a bug that may be fixed in a future update.
  • When a player earns the title "Babban's Traveling Companion", Lycopodium following the person will use a Regen move on that player, which gives 3 HP/tick for 3 minutes.

Historical Background

Lycopodium is a genus in which clubmosses are categorized (also called ground pines). Clubmosses are terrestrial vascular plants that have small, simple leaves which are densely packed along the stems. Despite the Lycopodium mandragora having a flower atop its head, Lycopodium species are entirely flowerless, reproducing instead by producing spores.
