Spawn Conditions Companions/Summons
  • N/A
Special Abilities Passive Traits
  • Dual Strike - Double attacks a single target. Additional effect: Stun
  • Mantle Pierce - Stabs a single target. Additional effect: Weight
  • Molluscous Mutation - Enhances defense and causes Lusca to be healed by physical damage.
  • Saline Coat - Enhances magic defense and causes Lusca to be healed by magical damage.
    • Both defense enhancements can not be active at the same time (one overwrites another).
    • While the defense boost can be dispelled, this does not remove the absorb effect. As such, a mix of both melee and mages are recommended for this fight.
    • One way to counter this is using a low damage weapon with elemental weaponskills during Molluscous Mutation.
  • Siphon Discharge - Deals Water damage to targets in a fan-shaped area. Additional effect: Knockback
  • Enmity appears to occasionally reset after using Molluscous Mutation or Saline Coat. Verification Needed

Historical Background

The lusca is a name given to a sea monster reported from the Caribbean. It has been suggested by cryptozoologists that the lusca is a gigantic octopus, far larger than the known giant octopuses of the genus Enteroctopus. This makes sense given the title obtained from defeating the VNM as well as its species type.
