Historical Background[]
During the older days of the circus which involved large big game animals the center attraction would usually be the ringmaster and several lions and or tigers. One of the most recognized tricks the ringmaster would perform with the cats would be to have them jump through a burning hoop of fire. This would explain the Enchantment: Enfire on the weapon. Since the cats would rarely injure themselves doing the jump it may also be why the axe provides +10 pet defense.
It might also have such stats because of the traits of the enemy that drops it. Brass Borer has a potent blaze spikes and en fire effect, as well as excessively high Defense. This matches his other drop, Ritterhentzes, which has high defense and an enchantment blaze spikes.
