According to Christian mythology, Lilith was the original female partner created for Adam. There are many different variations on Lilith's story, but one of the driving themes in all versions is that Lilith was an unfit partner for Adam. Whether she was evicted from the Garden of Eden or left of her own volition, most accounts agree that afterward she was condemned to be a queen and mother of demons.
