You immediately can get A Squire's Test II without zoning, if you fulfill its requirements.

Walkthrough

1. {Southern San d'Oria F-7} Talk to Balasiel. Trade him Revival Tree Root to him to complete the quest.
   • Auction House: Materials -> Alchemy
   • Otherwise typically dropped by undead.
   • Balasiel can be tricky to find.
     
     1. Start by going to Watchdog Alley at (F-6).
     2. You will see an NPC named Celyddon.
        • Walk west from him into the stairwell.
     3. Follow it upward, and take your first left.
        • do not walk out along the wooden walkway; walk across the wooden bridge instead
     4. Follow those stairs up, then they will dip back down, and curve around to Balasiel.
   • It is not necessary to zone to give the Revival Tree Root after the cutscene. Give it immediately after talking to him.
