Background
Kenkonken may refer to a Chakram of great power wielded in Taoist mythology, Naraku (JP) or Nezha (CN). Nezha is a mythological figure who is often depict as a young handsome boy wearing clothes similar to a lotus since he was reincarnated from a lotus. He has 2 wheels with flames attached to his feet and golden ankle rings. The Japanese Wikipedia article[1] citing the weapon needs further translation for complete historical information.
Additionally, the Kenkonken may be a reference to the Martial Arts style Sorinjiryu Kenkokan Karate, a unique blend of Okinawan kobudo and Shorinji Ryū Karate, Japanese aikijujutsu, judo, kenjutsu, and Chinese bājíquán. This particular martial arts style innovated the Karate style by allowing its students to train fully with weapons and protective equipment to test their techniques without having to hold back.
