Notes:

Historical Background

The name follows the standard Tonberry naming convention of (color)-(body part) (name)berry. In this case, however, the name appears to be both a pun and a hint regarding the mob's Ninjutsu spell preference and inability to use TP moves.

Hoar, in the strictest definition, refers to frost or a frost-like coating which alludes to the mob's use of Hyoton. In a more liberal sense, hoar can be used to describe an aged, grey-ish white coloration which leads to the pun in regards to the mob's lack of TP moves ("white-knuckled Rimberry"). A white-knuckled grip as a result of nerves is used synonymously with an inability to act.
