Defeat the monster Pyracmon![]
Brave adventurers are needed to help drive off the unholy monsters seeking to blend in with those dressed in costume in order to infiltrate the town. Complete the tasks assigned, and you shall be met with great reward!
1. Speak to the moogle.
Speak to a moogle in one of the following locations in order to confirm the details of the event and receive a bit of moogle magic.

2. Defeat the Wraith Bats.
Once you have received the moogle's enhancing magic, defeat the Wraith Bats that appear in the surrounding area. You can participate in the battle if you are at Level 1 due to the effects of the enhancing magic.
3. Speak to the moogle once more.
After defeating one or more Wraith Bats, talk to the moogle once again to receive additional enhancing magic.
4. Defeat Pyracmon.
Once you receive the extra enhancing magic, defeat Pyracmon when it appears nearby. Pyracmon can only be damaged with the Enlight effect given to you as part of the moogle's enhancing magic. Defeat it while the enhancing magic is active in order to successfully complete the request.
5. Report back to the moogle.
After you successfully defeat Pyracmon, return to the moogle to claim your reward.
In addition to repeatedly defeating monsters, you can obtain even more special rewards by taking down the monsters while meeting certain conditions.
Give treats to those dressed in costumes![]
Residents of the realm are walking about dressed as a variety of fearsome monsters, hoping to scare the living daylights out of adventurers like you. By giving the costumed NPCs in the areas listed below a treat, you'll be able to dress up in a costume of your own. If you're really lucky, you might even obtain a special Halloween-themed item!
- NPCs will accept most sweets, with certain exceptions that do not appeal to their finicky palates.

Windurst Waters / Windurst Woods
Obtain rare rewards
Out of the rewards you can randomly receive, there will be high-quality versions for each piece of equipment. If you trade the treats while wearing the regular quality version of an item, you might be able to receive its high-quality version.
Also, forming a party of two or more players and going to the costume party while wearing a specific costume combination can allow you to obtain special rewards.

Join the Pink Masquerade costume contest![]
After speaking to Ensemble Maven in the contest venue, trade treats to participate in the contest. You will receive an evaluation of the costume you're wearing, and a particularly high evaluation can win you a special prize.
- Your costume will be evaluated on your main/sub weapons, and your head, body, hands, legs, and feet equipment. You will also need to disable your style lock setting in order to participate.

Wake of the Lilies[]
The Harvest Festival will once again play host to the Wake of the Lilies, with three aspiring exorcists from the West making their annual pilgrimage to the three nations. Seek out the shadows specified by the exorcists and investigate them while wearing a monster costume.
Exorcist Locations
Once your investigation is complete, report back to the exorcist to claim your reward. Also, if you conduct the investigation again while wearing the reward you received, you can receive a special reward.
- After successfully completing an exorcist's request, players must wait till midnight (Vana'diel time) has passed before accepting another.
Seasonal Stalls[]
Special Harvest Festival stalls will make an appearance in the following areas, offering all manner of seasonal goodies for sale. Furthermore, decorate your Mog House with three new lanterns available in each nation, and your moogle just might have a surprise for you the next time you speak with him!
- This special gift may still be obtained after the Harvest Festival has ended, as long as the necessary conditions have been met.
