• Unlike other normal fish/items in this zone, the time you have to reel in the Hakuryu is 39 seconds with Ebisu Fishing Rod, that's 10 seconds longer than the standard 29 seconds given to reel in your catch. There is debate between the time allowed with a Lu Shang's Fishing Rod.
• It is highly recommended to fish Hakuryu with both the Noddy Ring, Puffin Ring, and Fisherman's Smock together to increase the bite rate.
