Description Large amounts of mythril were extracted from these twisting caverns long before the discovery of the Palborough Mines. Complete with a railway system for mine carts, Gusgen was heavily mined for many years. During those years there are reports of numerous accidents involving both miners and their children. A awful legend among fomor miners tells of six unfortunate fellows who each drowned in a different pool, and it is said their spirits remain tied to the pools, returning to the sound of the shift changing sirin. Miners also tell a horrifying tale of a legendary beast who used to roam the deepest depts of the mine, praying on unsuspecting people. Today the veins of ore are all but depleted, and the miners have packed up and moved away. Now, apart from the vial creatures lurking within, the mines remain abandoned.
