Notes:

• Spawns in place of a normal Marid approximately every 30 minutes to an hour, but it is not considered an NM.
• Spawns a Chigoe every time it uses TP. Does not spawn more than five chigoes.
• The Grand Marid is tougher than a normal Marid and grants more experience points. This is true also for the Chigoe that spawn.
• It links to a normal Marid, however the normal Marids don't link to it.
• Soloable by a 75DRG/37BLU. Ethereal Earring is not required; had a Saurian Helm; had to recall wyvern once, as well as using Spirit Link, though Super Jump was not used.
• Soloable by a 65RDM/32WHM using DOT kite technique, sleeping the Chigoe as they pop. Long fight.
