- Talk to Green Thumb Moogle for a cutscene.
- Plant the Fruit Seeds he gives you in the Garden Furrow and fertilize it with Sunsand. Or...
- Fastest method: Buy the Tropical Cactus off the Auction House under Others > Misc.
- 2nd fastest method: Use Revival Root with the Sunsand instead. It will be available for harvest in one hour.
- Sunsand can be bought off the Auction House under Others > Misc. or obtained from the ??? near the shipwreck at (H-9) of Valkurm Dunes during dust storms.
- The Tropical Cactus is not 100%.
- Wait 20 (real life) hours and harvest the Fruit Seeds for a chance to receive Tropical Cactus.
