  • Gains either a Weapon Damage immunity or Spell Damage immunity effect upon using Blood Weapon, for 30 seconds. Which one is chosen seems to be random. During Weapon Damage immunity it will be immune to all weapons and weapon skills, including magic-based weapon skills such as Aeolian Edge. Damage spells during Spell Damage immunity will be outright resisted. It should be noted that this immunity applies to uses of Primeval Brews as well.
  • At 50% HP or below, Blood Weapon has a chance to reset hate. Below 25% HP Blood Weapon will always reset hate.
  • Absorbs phsyical damage while readying and during a TP move. After using a TP move, he will gain a stoneskin effect based on how much he was healed since his last TP move.
  • Absorbs magical damage while casting a spell, even after spell is interrupted. After casting a spell, he will gain a magic shield effect based on how much he was healed since his last cast.

  • In order to solve what the possible weakness trigger factors and conditions are, efforts are being made to centralize data capture in a standardized format. If you have some personal experience in achieving any particular weaknesss on any NM, please feel free to refer to the [Weakness Discussion segment of the Category: Abyssea Discussion tab] and add your data to that form at the bottom of that segment.

Historical Background

Glavoid is an alternative romanization of Graboid, the main antagonist of the Tremors series of movies. Graboids are the first stage in the life cycle of the creature, appearing as massive worm-like monsters.
